A business mission of Kazakhstani exporters organized by QazTrade JSC together with the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Qatar, took place in Doha, the capital of Qatar. The event brought together representatives of Kazakhstani companies seeking to establish business ties and expand export opportunities to the Qatar market.
Within the framework of the event, B2B meetings were held, which were attended by 30 companies from Kazakhstan and Qatar representing key sectors of the economy such as agriculture, agro-industry, industry and IT technologies. The participants of the business mission were able to hold individual negotiations with potential partners, discuss the possibilities of mutual exchange of goods and services, as well as establish business contacts with Qatari distributors and importers.
One of the significant events within the framework of the mission was the meeting of the First Deputy General Director of QazTrade, Nurlan Kulbatyrov, with representatives of Qatar Airways. During the negotiations, the prospects for the development of air cargo and the creation of effective logistics channels for the delivery of Kazakhstani goods to the market of Qatar and other countries of the Middle East were discussed. Nurlan Kulbatyrov stressed the importance of optimizing tariffs and improving the quality of transportation, which can significantly expand the range of exported goods and increase the geography of supplies.
It should be noted that the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Qatar for the current year amounted to 6.2 million US dollars, which demonstrates the dynamic development of bilateral trade relations. One of the outstanding achievements was a significant increase in lamb exports from Kazakhstan to Qatar, which increased by 75%. This indicator indicates a high demand for Kazakh agricultural products and underlines the importance of the agricultural sector in strengthening economic relations between the two countries.
