Financing of the Almaty Zhastary housing program will be continued in Almaty on the initiative of Mayor Yerbolat Dosayev. This was announced during an extraordinary session of the Almaty Maslikhat by the head of the Finance Department Kanat Sukhambekov.
As part of the clarification of the budget of the city of Almaty, the volume of social assistance for citizens from the category of socially vulnerable segments of the population has been increased: 585 million tenge is allocated to district akimats to provide social support to citizens at home, as well as support for persons with special needs.
Kanat Sukhambekov noted that an additional 1.4 billion tenge will be allocated from the budget to finance the Almaty Zhastary housing program.
This will allow, according to him, to provide an additional 80 mortgage loans for young citizens who work in social, law enforcement, municipal and other fields.
It is also planned to allocate an additional 2.5 billion tenge from the local budget to improve the living conditions of 2,510 employees of the internal affairs bodies.
