The clarification of the budget of the city of Almaty is carried out due to the internal redistribution of funds between the administrators of budget programs. This was announced at the regular session of the Maslikhat by the head of the Almaty Finance Department Kanat Sukhambekov.
According to him, the revenue and expenditure part of the budget will be reduced by 82.9 billion tenge, including due to savings based on the results of public procurement – 18.1 billion tenge, as well as the transfer of funds for the next year in the amount of 57.9 billion tenge.
"The main reasons for the transfer of funds to 2025 are improper fulfillment of contractual obligations by contractors, prolonged holding of competitive procedures," Kanat Sukhambekov noted, adding that additionally, due to the outpacing of the pace of work on new initiatives, 21.3 billion tenge is allocated, which will be redirected to additional financing of socially significant projects and events.
