The ICRIAP Information Security Committee, together with the Informatization Department of the Kostanay region Akimat and Astel JSC, held a seminar on cybersecurity and cyber hygiene.
This training on advanced training in cybersecurity is conducted for employees of government agencies within the framework of the Concept of Digital Transformation, development of the information and communication technologies and cybersecurity industry for 2023-2029.
During the seminar, participants discussed current threats in the field of information security, including both external and internal risks. The experts shared practical recommendations and strategies for information protection, focusing on the importance of observing the principles of cyber hygiene as a key element in the data protection system. The event brought together about 70 representatives of government agencies, including regional administrations, akimats of cities and districts, and municipalities.
"Cyber hygiene is not just a set of rules, it is a whole culture that needs to be implemented in every organization. Awareness of risks and knowledge of methods of their prevention is the basis for creating a secure digital environment," said the representative of the Information Security Committee of the ICRIAP RK.
The participants also discussed the importance of cyber hygiene and raising awareness among employees. The seminar has become an important platform for the exchange of experience and best practices between participants, which will increase awareness of cyber threats and improve information protection in government institutions.
