The Sybaga Festival will be held in Aktobe for the first time

The Sybaga Festival, aimed at glorifying national traditions, will be held in Aktobe from December 2 to December 6. This was announced at a briefing held at the regional communications service.
According to the head of the regional department of internal policy Alibek Bayneshov, the event is aimed at reviving national values, spiritual education of the younger generation, strengthening unity and harmony in society and will be held for the first time in our region.
"The festival will last five days. The event will include scientific and practical conferences, an exhibition of national clothes, sports competitions, gastronomic festivals and charity events.
The opening ceremony of the festival will take place on December 2 in the conference hall "Mangilik El" of the Kudaibergen Zhubanov Regional University. The historical aspects of the festival will be discussed at the scientific and practical conference "Tagylym": "Ulttyk rukh tugyry" ("Teaching": "Pillar of the national spirit"), which will be held at the university. On December 3, a display of national clothes and an exhibition-fair of artisans are planned as part of the event "Defile of the Epoch", on December 4 – the traditional hunting and national sports tournament "Salburyn-2024", on December 5 – the gastronomic festival of national dishes "Bereke", on December 6 a charity event "Sybaga" will be organized, the head of the department said.
During the briefing, the head of the department of the regional department of agriculture and land relations P.Bimuratov and the head of the regional department of entrepreneurship A.Salykbayev presented a plan of events that will take place within the framework of the festival. The head of the regional Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation A.Yunisova invited everyone to take an active part in the event aimed at glorifying our national values.
