Mayor of Astana Zhenis Kassymbek on his Instagram page told about the main production site of the capital, which will allow to produce its products, create permanent jobs, attract private investment in the development of the city, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
"The Industrial Park is the main production site of the capital, which allows you to produce your products, create permanent jobs, and attract private investment in the development of the city.
The investment portfolio of industrial facilities of Industrial Park No. 1 includes 121 projects worth investments of about 317 billion tenge. Of these, 70 projects are already fully operational, having created more than 5,700 jobs.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov got acquainted with the production facilities of the industrial park. For example, we visited the plant of Digital System Service LLP, which produces telecommunications equipment. The 7.5 thousand square meter plant provides a full production cycle, including software development, assembly and packaging of finished products.
The company "Locomotive kurastyru zauyty", where the assembly of mainline locomotives is carried out, was also inspected. Since the start of production, 611 locomotives have been assembled, and the localization level reaches 75%. Investments in the project amounted to 30 billion tenge, almost 750 jobs were created. In addition, they visited the sewing factory of Ashina KZ LLP, the refining plant of Tau-Ken Altyn LLP.

According to the results of the first half of 2024, the volume of gross regional product (GRP) of Astana reached 5.5 trillion tenge. It is noteworthy that the share of small and medium-sized businesses is 72% in the GRP structure. Over the 10 months of this year, about 1.3 trillion tenge of investments were attracted to Astana, and the volume of industrial production also increased by almost 7%," the mayor of the capital wrote.
