A new multidisciplinary hospital is being built in the city of Kossy, which will become a major medical facility for residents of the capital and surrounding areas. The project is being implemented by Viamedis LLP, and the contractor is Alemenergoservice LLP.
Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov got acquainted with the construction of a multifunctional regional hospital.
The head of the region noted that on behalf of the President of the country Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the task was set to pay special attention to the development of the engineering and communal infrastructure of the capital city.
Today, the construction of the polyclinic building is already actively underway. The construction is scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Recall that in June of this year, the Akimat of the Akmola region and the Viamedis company signed a memorandum on the construction of a multidisciplinary hospital with a polyclinic.
The total amount of private investment in the project is more than 28 billion tenge, of which 14.4 billion will be allocated for construction work, and more than 9 billion for equipping the hospital with modern medical equipment.
The hospital is designed for 300 beds and will include a polyclinic for 1,000 visits per shift, as well as departments of surgery, traumatology, cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, oncology and chemotherapy. In addition, the medical center will have an operating room and maternity units, as well as a modern diagnostic base, including a positron emission tomograph.
The new medical center will become an important link in the healthcare system for residents of the city of Kosshy, as well as Tselinograd, Yerementau, Arshalyn, Astrakhan, Egindykol, Shortandinsky and Korgalzhynsky districts.
The hospital complex will consist of a polyclinic, a hospital, an administrative building, and a boarding house for nonresident patients. Residential buildings for hospital staff will be built in the city to attract medical personnel.
