Dear compatriots!
I sincerely wish you a Happy New Year!
We are entering the year that crowns the first quarter of this century. It is significant that all residents of our country, from Altai to Atyrau, simultaneously open a new page of the calendar. Our people always greet this holiday with enthusiasm. Looking back, we summarize the results of the past year, set new goals and look forward to the future with great hopes. On this truly family holiday, first of all, I would like to wish peace and prosperity to our country and well-being to all our fellow citizens.
This year has been full of important events. The comprehensive reforms we have initiated have borne their first fruits. We have taken decisive steps to implement the new economic policy. The manufacturing industry has developed dynamically, large industrial enterprises have been launched, and the investment climate has improved. Thousands of kilometers of highways have been reconstructed, and the longest bridge in the country has been built.
A record harvest has been harvested by our farmers. Thanks to the campaign "Taza Kazakhstan", the appearance of cities and villages began to change. For the first time, the average life expectancy of citizens has reached 75 years.
Much has been done to ensure a bright future for the younger generation. Part of the funds of the National Fund began to flow into the accounts of children. Over a hundred new schools have been opened, and many social facilities have been built.
Members of Parliament have passed laws on pressing issues of society. A referendum was held, at which we made a very important decision regarding the future of our country. The majority of our citizens supported the construction of a nuclear power plant.
Kazakhstan's authority on the world stage has significantly strengthened, and landmark summits of influential international organizations have been held in Astana.
Thousands of athletes and foreign guests gathered at the World Nomad Games, organized at the highest level. The competitions demonstrated to the world the uniqueness and originality of the nomadic civilization. Thanks to the victories of Kazakhstani athletes, our turquoise flag flew in the arenas of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Our students have also won many medals at international intellectual Olympiads. These are far from all our achievements that we can rightfully be proud of.
As you know, last spring, large-scale floods swept through a number of regions, which became a severe test for the country. But despite the difficulties, our people have demonstrated solidarity and unwavering unity. All the victims received the necessary assistance. The state has not ignored anyone, having fulfilled all its obligations. Hundreds of families are celebrating the New Year in new homes today. Thanks to this unity, we overcome all challenges and look confidently into the future. We will continue the systemic reforms and implement all the planned plans. As President, I will do my best to make the coming year even more fruitful.
The government has to do an effective job to ensure the steady growth of our economy. We need to open new production facilities, improve business conditions, continue building roads, and solve public utilities problems. It is necessary to expand the use of digital technologies, including artificial intelligence. Strengthen the support of our farmers. In all this work, the main goal is to increase the well–being of citizens.
The state will pay increased attention to the development of education and healthcare, science and culture.
We will continue to build new schools and hospitals, and raise the status of teachers, doctors, scientists, and cultural figures. And, of course, the state will support the youth.
A number of significant dates await us next year. We will honorably celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. We will hold the thirtieth anniversaries of the Constitution and the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan at a high level. We must also take a responsible approach to the celebration of the 180th anniversary of the great Abai.
In recognition of the merits of working people, I have declared the coming year the Year of the Working Professions. Special attention will be paid to the promotion of values such as patriotism, hard work and professionalism in society. Right now, despite the holiday, thousands of our compatriots are at work and on duty. Among them are border guards, doctors, law enforcement officers, rescuers, firefighters, production workers, and representatives of other professions who set a real example of dedication to their work. On behalf of the entire nation, I express my sincere gratitude to you. I would also like to convey my best wishes to our fellow citizens studying or working abroad!
Dear compatriots!
At this special moment, I wish every family love and prosperity! May the New Year bring only good things to every citizen! May our older generation be in good health! I wish children and youth success in life and a bright future! May our sacred Homeland prosper!
May this family holiday fill your hearts with warmth and joy! I sincerely wish you good health, happiness and prosperity!
Happy New Year!
