The construction of water supply and sanitation networks in the private sector, which has never had centralized utilities, has been completed in Almaly district of Almaty.
One of the significant projects was the construction of water supply networks on 12 streets, including Industrialnaya, Tsiolkovsky, Volkhovskaya and others streets. Today, residents of these streets are provided with a central water supply and sanitation system.
In addition, new sewer networks with a total length of 15 km, covering 19 streets, were installed as part of the project. Since the construction of the private sector, there have been no centralized sewage networks on 6 of them. In 2025, the project will continue to be implemented on the remaining 13 streets. As a result of the measures taken, 6.8 thousand consumers will be provided with central utility networks.
The pumping station of water supply at Tole bi St., ug. Volkhovskaya St. has been successfully reconstructed and overhauled. Previously, the station was in disrepair, and its equipment has not been repaired since 1992. After the reconstruction, more than 500 residents of 4 apartment buildings are provided with uninterrupted water supply.
In general, since the beginning of 2024, 219 km of new water supply and sanitation networks have been built in Almaty on behalf of Akim Yerbolat Dosayev, 27.3 km of existing networks have been modernized, which allowed to reach about 60 thousand subscribers. In 2025, it is planned to build 240 km and modernize 48 km of networks.
