According to the Office of Urban Mobility of Almaty, it is planned to complete the construction of a transport interchange at the intersection of pr. Seifullina - Zhansugurova St. and the penetration of Sain Street from Ryskulov Ave. to Akyn Sara St., as well as Abai Avenue to the city border.
In May, the punching of Abai Avenue from B. Momyshuly Street to the city border will be put into operation. The total length of the tunnel will be 5.3 km with a six-lane road, bike paths and sidewalks on both sides.
In the summer, it is planned to complete the punching of Sain Street from Ryskulov Avenue to Akyn Sara Street with a total length of 3.2 km. Due to this, it is expected to reduce the traffic load by 40% from Momyshuly Street.
In June, it is planned to fully complete the construction and landscaping of the adjacent transport interchange at the intersection of Zhansugurova Street and Seifullin Avenue.
