TURKESTAN: CENTENARIANS HONORED IN SAURAN

In honor of the New Year's celebration, Deputy Akim of the region Yertai Altayev visited the homes of centenarians of the Sauransky district and congratulated them on the holiday.
First of all, he went to the village of Eski Ikan, where he visited Zakir Musayev, a 100-year-old veteran of the Great Patriotic War. On behalf of the akim of the region, he handed over a congratulatory letter, presented a gift and presented a symbolic gift – a horse.
Zakir Musayev was born on January 1, 1925 in the village of Eski Ikan, Sauransky district of Turkestan region. Having lost his father early, he became an orphan at the age of 9. Together with his mother and sister, he overcame many difficulties. In 1943, he voluntarily went to the front, where he was wounded twice. After the end of the war, he served as a security guard in Dresden (Germany) and returned home in 1950. He continued his career in his native village, having worked for 35 years as an accountant. He raised 4 daughters and 1 son, instilling in children diligence, honesty and respect for the spiritual values of the people. Grateful for the attention, Zakir ata expressed gratitude and wished success in the development of the region, as well as gave his blessing.
After that, Yertai Altaev visited another centenarian, 102–year-old resident of the village of Eski Ikan, Hapiza Ermetova. The Deputy Akim noted that 2025, declared by the President as the "Year of Working Professions," emphasizes the importance of labor, and honored the labor feat of the centenarian.
He congratulated Hapiza Apa on two holidays – birthday and New Year, and presented her with festive gifts. The heroine mother thanked the guests for their attention and blessed them, wishing peace and prosperity to the country.
Khapiza Ermetova was born on January 1, 1923 in the village of Aktobe, in the rural district of Zhana Ikan. During the Great Patriotic War, she worked in the rear, contributing to the victory. After the war, in 1953, she moved to the village of Eski Ikan, where she lived happily with her family and raised 8 children. Today, Hapiza apa is a labor veteran, proud of 39 grandchildren and 8 great–grandchildren.
