Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan Svetlana Zhakupova held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan Bakhtiyor Ibragimov. The parties discussed issues of cooperation in the field of labor migration.
The Head of the Ministry of Labor informed about the latest legislative changes in the migration sphere, spoke about the introduction of the migration.enbek portal.kz and its capabilities.
Thus, the process of obtaining permits for labor immigrants has been automated through the portal, as well as expanded opportunities for employers to search for potential workers abroad and simplified further interaction between the parties regarding the conclusion of an employment contract.
In addition, Svetlana Zhakupova noted that in order to attract highly qualified personnel, the list of sought-after professions for foreign specialists has been expanded.
The Minister also demonstrated to Bakhtiyor Ibragimov the capabilities and functionality of the migration.enbek portal.kz and the Enbek Skills platforms.
In turn, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan noted the high quality of work carried out in Kazakhstan in the field of labor migration and the need for further cooperation.
