A new leisure area has appeared in Almaty on an empty plot. A public space with playgrounds and sports grounds was built in the Turksib district at 73 Burundayskaya St. under the program "Budget of National Participation".
As part of the project, new children's play complexes, sports equipment, benches and urns have been installed, and street lighting lines have been installed. Additionally, fencing structures and a parking area are provided for the convenience of residents.
It is worth noting that in 2025, on behalf of the mayor of the city, Yerbolat Dosayev, 40 improvement projects are planned in different parts of the district under the "Budget of National Participation" program.
It should be noted that under the BNU program, 18.8 billion tenge was allocated for the project in 2024, which is 5.8 billion tenge more than in 2023. Almaty residents had the opportunity to propose and implement 364 projects for the improvement of courtyards, public spaces, the creation of sports and playgrounds.
