In accordance with the Plan for conducting seminars to improve the qualifications of employees of state revenue bodies, approved by Order No. 1395 of the Chairman of the Committee of State Revenue of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Committee) dated December 26, 2025, a remote seminar on the following topic was held by the Training and Methodological Center together with the Foreign Exchange Control Department of the Customs Administration Department of the Committee from September 22 to 24, 2026: “Control over the repatriation of national and (or) foreign currency (procedures for implementing export–import currency control, the procedure for conducting documentary audits and other forms of currency control)” via Polycom video conferencing.

   The purpose of the event is to ensure compliance with the rules for using the Smart Data Finance module “Currency Control”.

   Employees of territorial state revenue bodies took part in the seminar as participants. A lecture was delivered to the seminar participants via Polycom video conferencing; the lecturers were:

- Naurzbayev Zhanibek Mergenbayuly – Chief Expert at the Currency Control Department of the Customs Administration Department of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

- Bekturganov Yernur Yermukhanovich – Expert at the Currency Control Department of the Customs Administration Department of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

   The seminar participants asked questions to the lecturers, to which comprehensive answers were provided.

Following the seminar, 66 participants received electronic certificates confirming successful professional development.
