According to the results of last year, 10 new projects totaling 25.17 billion tenge were launched in the Industrial Zone of Almaty (ISA), creating 1,319 jobs. There are 5 manufacturing enterprises among them. These are a plant for the production of household chemicals and personal hygiene products, a plant for the production of bank cards of international payment systems; a plant for the production of full-cycle reinforced concrete products; a plant for the production of electronic audio and video equipment for cars and a production complex for the production of cable and wire products.
Along with industrial enterprises, 5 small industrial parks with an area of 3,000 to 5,100 square meters were built in the industrial zone of Almaty in 2024. Private investors have invested more than 2.27 billion tenge for their construction, and it is planned to create 614 jobs.
It should be noted that the participants of the Industrial Zone of Almaty are 107 companies with projects worth 556.8 billion tenge with the creation of 14 496 jobs. From 2016 to 2024, 40 projects totaling 139.1 billion tenge were implemented in the territory of IZA. 4,403 jobs have been created at the enterprises.
