Due to the expiration of the trust management agreement concluded with the Arab company Terminals Astana Airport Management LLP, 100% of the shares of JSC Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport have been transferred to the municipal ownership of Astana city. The trust management agreement, which expired on January 7, 2025, was valid from November 7, 2023.
Taking into account the change in the owner of the capital's airport shares, preparations are currently underway to conclude a new trust management agreement between the Mayor's Office of the capital and Terminals Astana Airport Management LLP.
