Kazakhstan and the UK strengthen cooperation in higher education at Bett Show 2025
In London, as part of one of the largest educational exhibitions in the world, the Bett Show, an official meeting was held between Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Magzhan Ilyasov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to the UK, and Stephen Morgan, Minister of Education of the United Kingdom.
The main topic of discussion was the prospects for further cooperation in the field of higher and postgraduate education. Minister Nurbek spoke about the launch of the "Study in Kazakhstan" project, which aims to promote Kazakhstan as a key educational hub in the region. He also noted that in the future it is planned to expand the presence of leading British universities in Kazakhstan.
Stephen Morgan expressed gratitude to the Minister for his participation in this important event and stressed that cooperation between the two countries in the field of education will continue at a high level. He also announced plans to hold an intergovernmental commission in early April 2025.
The meeting at the Bett Show was an important step towards strengthening the partnership between Kazakhstan and the UK in the field of education, opening up new opportunities for students and teachers from both countries.
