The forge of the country's musical personnel celebrates the anniversary.
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a congratulatory letter to the staff of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, which was read out by the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva.
"The anniversary of the Conservatory is a landmark event in the spiritual life of our country. For eight decades, the Kazakh National Conservatory has made a huge contribution to the training of specialists in the preservation and development of our traditional music. Within the walls of this educational institution, famous graduates revealed their talent and demonstrated the full power and originality of our musical culture. And it is gratifying that the younger generation has accepted this honorable baton with dignity and continues to popularize our culture around the world. I express my sincere gratitude to the Conservatory staff for your contribution to the development of our national art. I wish you inspiration and fruitful work!" the President's letter says.
From November 23 to December 3, as part of the jubilee marathon dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, a number of events were held: concerts, master classes, creative meetings, an international conference, an exhibition and other events.
Alibek Dnishev, Jamila Baspakova, Roza Rymbayeva, Umitzhan Dzhumakova, Maryam Kozhamkulova, Almas Almatov, Serik Yerkimbekov, Karima Sakharbayeva, Dyusen Kaseinov, Altynbek Korazbayev and other artists who made an invaluable contribution to the cultural treasury of the country took part in the solemn event.
