At the plenary session, the deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan decided to approve in the first reading the draft law "On Amendments and Additions to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Issues of Determining the Country of Origin of Goods".
Within the framework of this draft law, a register of Kazakhstani producers will be introduced, which will replace the existing ST-KZ and Industrial Certificates, as well as integrate all existing electronic systems.
The Register under development is aimed at improving the system for confirming the production of goods. It will be integrated with state information systems that provide access to the documents necessary for conducting an examination.
The main stages of working with the Register include: 1) application; 2) digital confirmation; 3) production assessment; 4) Decision on inclusion or exclusion from the Register.
The system will replace and consolidate existing registers and certificates, creating a single point of access to information about domestic producers.
In addition, state support measures, including regulated purchases, will be provided only to producers included in the Register.
Thus, the new Register of Kazakhstani producers will be an important step towards supporting business and developing the national economy.
