The First World Congress on Inclusion will be held in Kazakhstan

This news was announced at one of the largest educational events in London - the Bett Show, the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports.
The World Congress will become a unique global congress. A platform that brings together governments, educators, technology companies, experts and specialists in the field of inclusion. The main goal is to discuss the latest achievements, exchange best practices and promote inclusive education.
The Congress is distinguished by a number of key features:
• Focus on practical implementation;
• Three-pronged approach (pedagogical innovations, technological achievements, corporate cooperation);
• Focus on the use of artificial intelligence and the latest technologies.
“The Congress will be the first international initiative in the field of inclusive education. Holding this prestigious international event will allow Kazakhstan to demonstrate its commitment to creating a just and inclusive society, as well as to demonstrate its achievements in educational reforms and technological innovations. The participation of international corporate leaders will open up strategic opportunities and attract global attention and potential investment to Kazakhstan,” said Laura Butabaeva, Director of the Department of Inclusive and Special Education of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Reference: In 2024, the number of children in need of special education in our country exceeded 230 thousand. 90 percent of schools in the country have created conditions for inclusive education, and the coverage of children with special psychological and pedagogical support has reached 80 percent.
