Kazakhstan's Ministry of Internal Affairs studies Chinese experience in using innovative technologies to ensure security

A delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, led by Deputy Minister Saken Sarsenov, paid a working visit to China.
On the instructions of the Minister of Internal Affairs Yerzhan Sadenov, representatives of the police department studied the best practices of foreign colleagues in the field of digitalization and the use of modern technologies in the activities of law enforcement officers.
During the visit, an official meeting was held with the Deputy Minister of Public Security of the PRC, Shi Datong.
The parties paid special attention to the issues of interaction in the field of introducing innovative methods in ensuring law and order and preventing offenses.
The Kazakh delegation got acquainted with the work of the Chinese electronic technology group, the command post of the police base for the use of drones, as well as the Law Enforcement and Case Management Center of the Beijing Public Security Bureau.
The Chinese side is interested in the use of digital monitoring technologies, including "big data", artificial intelligence, biometric systems, video surveillance, as well as the use of unmanned aerial vehicles to monitor the situation in public places, transport and other important facilities demonstrated.
China's successful experience in these areas will be a valuable guide for Kazakhstan. Digital solutions are of great importance in ensuring public order, preventing crimes, and strengthening the principle of "Law and Order".
