TURKESTAN: KOREAN INVESTORS TO INTRODUCE ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES INTO THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR

The Turkestan region continues to attract investments in the agro-industrial sector, becoming a center of advanced agricultural technologies and international cooperation. Today, the regional governor Nuralkhan Kusherov met with a group of investors who had specially arrived from Korea. During the talks, the parties discussed a number of important projects in detail.
The entrepreneurs presented plans to launch large-scale investment projects aimed at developing compound feed production, raising cattle, and growing rice using advanced Korean technologies. The implementation of the project will allow strengthening the agricultural potential of the region, creating new jobs, and introducing modern technologies into the agricultural sector.
The head of the region, who emphasized the importance of introducing modern technologies into agricultural production, touched upon the unique climatic conditions of the Turkestan region and shared his plans for projects to be implemented in the agricultural sector. The governor said that he intends to establish bilateral business relations with a specialized international agro-industrial company.
- Joint projects can be implemented in the southern region of our region. In several districts there, more than 1 million people live. There is enough labor. Our own farmers can provide the necessary products for waste-free production. I also invite you to exchange experience with local farmers on unique technological methods. The people of our region are very hardworking and accept innovation, - said Nuralkhan Kusherov.
In accordance with the instructions of the Head of State, work is underway in the Turkestan region to diversify agriculture, use water-saving technologies and new methods. The volume of output in agriculture, an important sector of the regional economy, exceeded 1 trillion tenge last year, taking the lead in the country in terms of output. This year, agricultural crops will be sown on 896 thousand hectares.
