Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting on the implementation of the instructions given by the Head of State at the expanded meeting of the Government on January 28 of this year.
Deputy Prime Ministers, ministers and the leadership of a number of organizations reported on plans to ensure the growth of economic sectors, improve the legislative environment for investors, develop the production of rare earth metals, create a nuclear cluster, reform the subsoil use sector, modernize road and transport and logistics infrastructure, ensure the principle of "Law and Order", introduce digital solutions and artificial intelligence, and further improve the quality of education and medical services.
The Prime Minister noted that the main focus of the work in the coming period is to ensure economic growth aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens. The Government will make prompt decisions in all areas and ensure the timely implementation of the President's instructions.
"We must actively work to attract investments, reform tax and budget policy and the subsoil use sector, strengthen the country's competitive advantages, improve the business climate, develop engineering infrastructure and energy, create a comprehensive system of digitalization, and revise the social security system for the population.
The Government has sufficient powers for this. Ministers and akims must make responsible decisions and be fully responsible for implementing the tasks set.
In each area that the Head of State mentioned yesterday, concrete results and the effectiveness of the work of each leader are needed - both at the center and in local areas. We must deal with solving the specific problems of investors, not to make a fuss, but on the contrary - to help entrepreneurs come, develop, build factories, enterprises, and production. Every leader should consider this to be the main principle of their work. Only concrete work is needed.
It is impossible to achieve positive results in new conditions using old, bureaucratic methods of work and formalism.
I instruct state bodies to focus on the qualitative implementation of the tasks assigned by the Head of State, to take decisive measures without undue haste and without delay. Concrete results are expected from all of us," Olzhas Bektenov noted.
The Prime Minister drew attention to a number of priority areas of work, emphasizing the strict strengthening of budgetary discipline and a balanced distribution of the state budget across priority areas.
