As part of the "Clean Kazakhstan" campaign initiated by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, a recreation area in the Korday district of Zhambyl region was donated to the benefit of the people.
The area of ​​the alley, which covers an area of ​​2.57 hectares, has been paved with gravel and lighting poles have been installed. There are also special benches for residents to rest. Forty spruce trees and more than thirty "catalpa" ornamental tree seedlings have been planted here. In addition, landscaping work around the area has not been left without attention. A pier has been built on the shore of the reservoir, and special attention has been paid to walking. A playground has also been built for young children.
District akim Begzat Bolatbekov, who attended the opening of the park, congratulated the residents of the district on the opening of the new recreation area, emphasizing the huge role the park plays in improving the health of residents and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Residents who attended the opening ceremony enjoyed the performances of artists, chess players, singers, and musicians from the district art schools and shared their impressions.
- Today, taking into account the wishes of the villagers, we are gathering for the opening ceremony of a new alley of special significance in the village of Korday. Our district has been improving day by day in recent years. We are very happy. May our descendants enjoy this recreation area! I wish you all the best, - said Sugirbay Tole, Honorary Citizen of Zhambyl Region and Korday District, expressing his joy.
It should be noted that 100 million tenge was allocated from the district budget for the project.
