Transforming property into state income, alimony, human rights: the work of the Justice Department for the past year was announced

The Department of Justice of Astana has announced the results of its work for the past year. At a briefing held at the City Communications Service, Deputy Head of the Department Azamat Aynabekov reported on the main results of the work done and touched upon the issues of collecting state revenues, confiscating property and bringing to administrative responsibility for failure to comply with the requirements of enforcement documents, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
In his speech, he said that an important part of the department's work was the transfer of confiscated property to state revenue.
"Last year, the territorial department of the Department of Justice on the conversion of property into state revenue considered 1,225 enforcement documents, of which 452 documents were fully executed, bringing 143 billion tenge to the budget.
The deputy head of the department also spoke about the issue of non-payment of alimony and combating offenses.
"In 2024, the territorial department on administrative practice received 3,143 proposals from private bailiffs and filled out 436 administrative protocols. Of these, 412 debtors were brought to administrative responsibility under the protocols, 48 of whom were arrested and 364 were fined. 43 debtors were arrested for non-payment of alimony, and 139 people were fined.
The main work of the department in 2024 will be aimed at protecting the rights and interests of the state and citizens. We will continue to work to ensure the implementation of the law and improve the quality of services provided, ”said Azamat Aynabekov, Deputy Head of the Department of Justice of Astana.
