By the resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Asset Ilyasovich Nussupov was appointed Vice Minister of Trade and Integration.
Born in 1983 in Almaty. Graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Illinois Institute of Technology (USA).
Began his career in 2004 in Almaty as a manager of the National Innovation Fund JSC.
From 2006 to 2008, he worked in the Venture Projects Financing Department of the venture capital firm Flagship Ventures (USA), Washington, D.C. (USA) Internship at the international investment firm "Small Enterprise Assistance Funds".
From 2008 to 2010, he worked as a project manager at the "Kazakhstan Investment Fund" JSC, a consultant at the World Bank's Central Asia office, a consultant at the Asian Development Bank's office in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Deputy Director of the Center for the Study of the World Economy.
In 2010–2015, he was an inspector, head of the sector of the Secretariat of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana.
In 2015–2021, he was a head of the sector of the Department for General Security Issues of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana.
In 2021–2023, he was a deputy head of the Department for General Security Issues of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana.
From 2023 to the present, he was a deputy head of the Department for Current Security Issues of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana.
