A new House of Culture has been opened in the village of Bukhara Zhyrau district, named after the talented singer, composer, and people's poet Doskey Alimbayev.
This year marks the 175th anniversary of the birth of the Honored Worker of Culture of the Kazakh SSR.
Residents of the village of Doskey have long been asking for the construction of a House of Culture.
The new building has a 200-seat auditorium and rooms for clubs.
Not only children, but also active retirees will demonstrate their skills here.
Dombra, dance, and other clubs will operate.
The House of Culture was built under the special project "Village - Cradle of the Nation".
- President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted: "Culture and art are important spheres in the life of the country. Art is the soul of the nation, and culture is its spiritual face. These two values ​​​​are the foundation of our civilization and a reflection of national consciousness." Indeed, the unique spirit of the Kazakh people is reflected in their art and cultural heritage, said the akim of the Bukhar Zhyrau district, Yerlan Kusayin.
The district head presented certificates for the purchase of eight dombras and a bayan for the new House of Culture.
