In order to provide employment to young graduates in our country, the state program "Youth Practice" is helping many young professionals start their first career. Last year, 7,166 residents in Shymkent received referrals to subsidized jobs through state programs, of which 2,456 referrals were from the "Youth Practice" program.

One of the young professionals who found a job through the state program is Dinara Akhimbayeva. She studied at a higher educational institution in Petropavlovsk with a degree in "Educator" and applied to the Labor Mobility Center in August of last year to find a job. As a result, she received a referral to the "Bes Arys" kindergarten through the "Youth Practice" program. Currently, she is improving her first work experience in a kindergarten in her specialty.

- I like working with children. Each child has its own characteristics. That is why I chose this specialty and got an education. When I applied to the Labor Mobility Center while looking for a job, specialists explained the "Youth Practice" program and gave me a referral to this kindergarten. I am very happy to gain experience in my chosen specialty and to work with experienced educators here. I encourage young graduates to find work in their specialty through state programs, - says D. Akhimbayeva.

Since the beginning of the year, 793 residents in the city have received referrals to work through state programs. 89 of them belong to the "Youth Practice" program. In addition, 15 people were referred to "Social Work" positions, 634 residents to "Public Work" positions, and 55 residents to the "Silver Youth" project to employ people of pre-retirement age.

In addition, 1,364 residents were permanently employed in vacant jobs. At the same time, according to the situation on the labor market, in the III quarter of 2024 the unemployment rate was 4.8%, while the unemployment rate among young people aged 15-34 was 3.1%.
