– I have repeatedly said and today I repeat once again, we strive to ensure that Karaganda develops not only in the center. We must build a city without suburbs. Therefore, I propose to declare next year the Year of Development of the South-East and Maikuduk," said Ermaganbet Bulekpayev.
The South-East is actively being built up. In addition to residential buildings, social facilities are also being built here. By the first of September, two new schools were opened, one of them comfortable. Another comfortable school is being completed.
Also in the South-East, land has been allocated for the construction of a large shopping and entertainment center for the whole family, and there will also be a library here. The investor is already developing a PSD.
He told how the problem of shortage of thermal capacities is being solved in Karaganda. The third heat sink has been built – the largest housing and communal services project in the last 30 years. Currently, the main networks are already connected to the district heating supply. In the perspective of seven years, the third heat sink will provide heat to 1.2 million square meters of housing, that is, more than 20 thousand apartments. Also, to improve heat supply, heating networks have been repaired in 15 sections with a length of 4 km.
The governor of the region stressed that the issues of other districts of the city will also continue to be resolved. For example, Yermaganbet Bulekpayev pointed out the condition of Cascade Square and N. Nazarbayev Avenue and instructed to develop a project for their improvement.
