We have allocated 72 hectares of land for the construction of a sports cluster between the Blue Ponds and the Southeast. The fact that Karaganda needs a new stadium has been talked about for a long time, I receive such questions regularly. Therefore, we will build an indoor stadium, a multifunctional ice complex designed for hockey, speed skating, figure skating and other sports. The ice arena will also be available for mass visits by residents," Yermaganbet Bulekpayev said. – We will also build an athletics arena, a universal sports arena with a swimming pool, wrestling and boxing halls on the territory. All facilities will meet international standards, which will allow holding competitions of the appropriate class.
Construction will begin next year. This will have a positive impact on the development of the area and will give an incentive to athletes.
Good news for the residents of Maikuduk as well. For the development of children, a modern Palace of schoolchildren will be built, as in Prishakhtinsk. The land plot has already been found, and the preparatory process has begun.
