Vice Minister of Emergency Situations, Major General Kegen Tursynbayev, on behalf of the Minister of Emergency Situations, presented the medal "For Courage in a Fire" to Talgat Musyrat, head of the "Orken" farm, for his courage and selflessness during a fire in a residential building, saving human lives.
Presenting the medal, the Vice Minister noted: "Talgat Musyrat showed not only courage, but also true heroism, which requires great responsibility. His actions are inspiring and serve as an example for everyone. Such people are true heroes of their time, and we are proud of their heroism."
Let us recall that on February 7, 2025, a fire broke out in a private residential building in the village of Ainabulak, Zaisan district, East Kazakhstan region. Before the fire brigade arrived, his neighbor Talgat Musirat risked his life, entered the heavily smoky house through a window, rescued an elderly woman and four children, and helped them get out of the danger zone. Firefighters arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire, which covered an area of ​​30 square meters. The cause of the fire was non-compliance with fire safety requirements during the installation of electrical equipment.
Batyr himself expressed his gratitude for the award, saying: "I could not stand by and watch when I saw people in danger. I acted on my instincts, and if I were in a similar situation again, I would do the same. The most important thing for me is the lives saved," he said.
