Fire prevention measures are actively underway in the Baikonur district of the capital, the official website of the Astana akimat reports.
Employees of the Baikonur district akimat and the Emergency Situations Department, together with volunteers, carried out preventive work in private housing in the district.
During the event, explanatory leaflets were distributed to private sector houses in order to prevent fire hazards. A total of 120 houses were covered during the raid. In addition, special alarm systems for detecting toxic gas were installed in 5 houses.
It should be noted that since the beginning of the year, 157 special alarm systems have been installed in private sector houses in the Baikonur district.
In addition, during the next inspection, special warning leaflets were distributed to private sector residents as part of flood prevention measures and explanations were provided.
The aforementioned emergency preventive measures to prevent fire hazards and prevent floods are continuing.
