The eagerly awaited new hangar-type sports complex opened its doors in the village of Kopa.
The event dedicated to the grand opening of the complex began with the blessing of the village elder. The mothers of the village traditionally threw a party and distributed baursak to the guests. The joy of the residents knew no bounds. The youth of the village can now engage in various sports and spend their free time effectively.
The district akim Nurkhan Tleumuratov, who participated in the opening ceremony of the new complex, congratulated the gathered public.
"The future of the district's sports is in the hands of today's youth. We firmly believe that future champions will emerge from the village of Kopa and defend the honor of not only our district, but also the entire country in international competitions.
On this joyful day, I wish you all good health, well-being for your families, and success in your work," said the district head.
The new sports complex was built in accordance with modern requirements and is fully equipped. It has basketball, volleyball, wrestling, mini-football fields and gyms. Also, a football field and a workout zone have been installed on the territory of the complex, and all sports equipment has been updated. Athletes have begun their first training on the volleyball, football and wrestling fields.
The opening ceremony of the sports complex was attended by villagers, the district akim and the deputy head of the regional department of physical culture and sports, Shyngyz Shokpytov, who expressed their congratulations.
Construction work began in May 2024 and was fully completed in December. The total cost of the project is 452.8 million tenge. The customer is the district construction department, the general contractor is AimarStroyService LLP, and the technical supervisor is Grand Tower Service LLP.
Village elders and residents also expressed their gratitude. Village elders Zholdas Nurymkanov and Badegul Buzaubaeva expressed their gratitude for the good deeds being done for the benefit of the country and gave their blessings. Also, Ulugbek Kaliolla, the coach of the sports complex, noted that the new facility is a great opportunity for teenagers and sports fans.
