✔️A regional plan for the "Year of Working Professions" has been approved in the Turkestan region. The regional plan consists of 7 directions and 64 steps. This was announced by the Deputy Head of the Education Department of the Turkestan region, Aigul Kasymbekova.
✔️"Within the framework of the Year of Working Professions, joint work will be carried out by sectoral departments, district and city akimats, and technical and vocational education organizations. In total, 50 colleges operate in the region. Most of them are multidisciplinary colleges. Of these, 10 train specialists in the agricultural sector, 3 in the service and tourism sector, and 11 colleges in the region train specialists in the construction sector. Today, 45 students are studying in 75 specialties. In addition, 30 colleges train working specialists, the number of students is 16,100. In the 2024-2025 academic year, there will be 15,525 state orders, of which 8,678 are working specialties. And for the 2025-2026 academic year, 15,500 state orders are planned, including an increase in the number of working specialties by 9,500. This year, we are implementing a project called "One College - One Product", opening workshops on the basis of 5 colleges and transforming them into small enterprises. The dual training system is a way to train qualified workers. Today, 10,353 students in 64 specialties are enrolled in 35 colleges under the dual education system,” the speaker said. width="16" height="16">According to Aigul Ergaliyevna, this year an "Atlas of Professions" will be prepared. Also, work will be carried out to open new specialties based on the demand of investors and enterprises. Priority will also be given to working professions in the 57,221 jobs opened under the "Labor" direction and 32,448 subsidized jobs. In addition, this year, 2,004 jobs are planned to be created in the region based on 125 investment projects. Today, memorandums are being signed with private investors to provide short-term vocational training for citizens sent to new jobs. More than 1,500 vacancies from about 350 employers are being offered at these fairs. 57 percent of vacancies belong to working professions.
