The Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation has provided the Kazsuchar branches with 84 new vehicles as part of flood preparedness. These include 8 truck cranes, 14 dump trucks, 7 tractors, 23 loaders and 32 gazelle vehicles.
The modernization of the special equipment fleet will allow us to strengthen control over water management facilities and ensure uninterrupted operation of the infrastructure, as well as increase the efficiency and quality of work.
This initiative of the Ministry is only part of a comprehensive plan for the modernization of the water management sector. The department intends to modernize 65-70% of water management equipment in the next few years.
“The Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation plans to provide the Kazsuchar branches with a total of 757 new vehicles and special equipment. This includes tracked vehicles, excavators, heavy trucks and tractors. In addition, 8 new dredgers will be purchased. These are vessels designed to clean the bottom of the reservoir from various sediments. Special equipment will allow reducing the risk of flooding, increasing the water capacity of canals and increasing the volume of water storage due to additional free space, ”said Vice Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Yerbolat Ibraikhanov.
