Governor of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy during his visit to Zhetysai district visited the educational nest under construction within the framework of the National pilot project "comfortable school", which was initiated on behalf of the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Kazakhstan.
As part of the project, at the end of last year, the construction of schools for 1500 places in Zhetysai, 900 places in Asykata and 600 places in Akniet settlement of Yntymak rural district will begin and will be put into operation in 2025.
The head of the region inspected the quality of construction of the facility worth 7 billion tenge in the village of Asykata and met with the heads of contractors. The school, which will be equipped with modern subject rooms, including robotics, broadband internet, and new modified classrooms, will create full conditions for students to receive high-quality education. It is possible to increase the percentage of the teaching staff of the highest and first categories, and improve the qualifications of pedagogical workers.
In order to provide students and teachers with modern schools in the District, 2 schools for 720 places in Zhetysai were commissioned this year at the expense of private investment, and another 3 schools for 1300 students will be built next year at the expense of investors.
It should be noted that the demographic growth in the region is high. There is a shortage of additional 35 thousand student places. In order to solve this problem, 50 schools are being built this year. 29 schools are being built within the framework of the" comfortable school " project. This year, for the first time, more than 300 educational institutions that have not been repaired for a long time have been modernized.
