A new school for 300 places has been opened in the village of Kogertu, Aktobe rural district, Kelessky district, Turkestan region. The opening ceremony of the educational institution was attended by the governor of the region Darkhan Satybaldy, who wished the students and teachers success.
— The President of the country noted that we must create all conditions in order to open the way for the younger generation. As part of this task, large-scale work in the field of education is being carried out in the region. This year alone, 29 schools are being built within the framework of the national project "Zhaily Mektep", and 21 more schools are being built at the expense of the regional budget and special funds. Putting these 50 schools into operation will solve the problem of emergency and three-shift schools in the region. In addition, for the first time in a long time, more than 300 schools have been modernized, which have not been repaired for many years. I am sure that government support will inspire teachers and have a positive impact on the quality of education of the younger generation. We are taking all necessary measures to create comfortable conditions for the educational process. The new school that we are opening today will solve the problem of students from neighboring villages who previously traveled to study by transport. I am sure that the students of this school will study perfectly, justify the hopes of the people and become worthy patriots of their country. The school was built by order of the regional construction department. Construction work began in October 2023. The total area of the site is 1.96 hectares, the cost of the project is 1.9 billion tenge. The educational institution is intended for students of the village of Kogertu and nearby settlements.
It is worth noting that 33,669 students study in 63 schools subordinated to the Department of Education of the Kelessky district. In the period from 2023 to 2025, it is planned to build five schools, three of which are being built within the framework of the national project "Zhaily Mektep", and two — at the expense of the local budget.
