The issues of housing and communal services, landscaping, road repairs, and the social sphere were raised by residents of Karaganda at a regular meeting with Akim of the Karaganda region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev.
The communication lasted for three hours, the head of the region listened to all the appeals of the citizens,
and then held a personal reception, which lasted another two hours.
A representative of the local government from Maikuduk complained about accidents on the main water pipeline No. 4. There were four gusts during the year. Mayor of Karaganda Meiram Kozhukhov noted that the problem is known and is already being solved. The water pipeline will be transferred to the city's balance sheet and design and estimate documentation will be prepared. It is planned to replace two of the four mainline branches next year.
A resident of the house on N. Abdirova Avenue, 25, addressed the issue of a non-working elevator. Together with their neighbors, they applied to the Housing Modernization Center, but there is no funding. The application will be approved next year, the resident was promised. As of today, 15 appeals have been received in Karaganda to the Center for Housing Modernization regarding the replacement of elevators.
Residents of Fedorovka drew attention to the lack of lighting in small streets. There is light only on the main street – Molokov Street. The head of the city noted that the issue will be gradually resolved.
Next year, it is planned to carry out lighting on the streets adjacent to schools.
Several questions were also received from the summer residents. They asked whether the roads leading to the garden plots would be repaired and whether a review of water supply tariffs was possible. The governor of the region said that the law on suburban communities and garden plots has already been initiated. If it is accepted, many problems will find their solution.
In addition to complaints, there were also suggestions. The representative of the interests of the disabled of the first group suggested that vouchers for accompanying persons in the sanatorium should be paid in advance, before the trip itself. The governor of the region promised to study the issue.
The townspeople noted that many issues are being resolved, but they would like to work more closely with the authorities. Ermaganbet Bulekpayev stressed the importance of working with active residents, recalling that he himself once initiated the creation of local self-government bodies.
The meeting was attended by the heads of regional departments, and some of the appeals were considered immediately.
