The program "Budget of public participation" is gaining popularity in Temirtau. It allows residents to propose their projects for the modernization of the urban environment – the improvement of courtyards, squares, the installation of playgrounds and sports grounds. This year, a good example was the arrangement of a modern park on the site of a vacant lot. The territory has been transformed, now you can walk with children and play sports there. This prompted Temirtaus residents' interest in the program.
Activity has increased. Concerned residents have proposed almost two dozen projects. According to the results of the popular online voting, there are 13 left. They were approved by the expert council. Next year, these proposals will be implemented at the expense of the local budget.
Most of them concern the landscaping of courtyards. There will also be new squares, sports and playgrounds.
In this way, residents can directly influence the improvement of their lives. Their initiatives are taken into account in the allocation of the local treasury.
