Today in Kokshetau, on the square near the flagpole, a solemn ceremony of raising the National flag in honor of the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place. The event was attended by Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov, as well as residents of the city, public figures, and youth. The ceremony was accompanied by the performance of the National Anthem.
Congratulating the audience, the head of the region noted the importance of the holiday as a symbol of unity, patriotism and national identity of Kazakhstanis.
At the event, Akmola residents who made a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the region were awarded the "Enbek Ardageri" medal and the "Zhomart Zhan" badge. In addition, the winners and prize-winners of the World Nomad Games, as well as citizens who took part in flood relief, were awarded with certificates of honor, letters of thanks from the akim of the region and monetary certificates.
By the way, the ceremony of raising the national flag was also held in the cities and districts of the Akmola region.
