The governor of the region made a report on the work carried out in the area, noting that the construction of the Atyrau -Inder regional road was disappointing.
– On the way to the district, I specially got acquainted with the condition of the Atyrau - Inder road, the asphalt of which was destroyed by heavy trucks. In this situation, high-quality care and operation are especially important. In order to ensure safety on the road, we will increase the number of police patrol cars with a special surveillance camera. In addition, an average repair of 50 km (117-167 km) of the district section of the highway of regional significance is underway. Due to the contractor's bad faith, the construction of the road is proceeding at a slow pace. Residents claim that they do not see the progress of the work, the road is in a deplorable state. The main focus in the area should be on infrastructure development and road quality. In this regard, I have given the relevant instructions to the responsible managers. If necessary, strict measures should be taken against the contractor, up to the termination of the contract for the services provided," S. Shapkenov said.
At the meeting, residents raised issues of providing drinking water, housing, road construction and others. The head of the region noted that the tasks will be solved in stages, based on the relevance.
The governor of the region, together with industry specialists, received about 20 citizens and answered their questions.
