Work on gasification of settlements is actively underway in the Turkestan region. In two years, 6 automated gas distribution stations (AGTS) were put into operation, significantly increasing the length of gas networks. One of these stations is located in the village of Igilik, Maktaaral district. Akim of the region Darkhan Satybaldy visited this important facility, got acquainted with its condition and congratulated the residents.
– Work on gasification of settlements in the region will continue. Thanks to the construction of new gas distribution stations, the infrastructure of the region continues to improve. All this is the result of state support," said the governor of the region, meeting with local residents. He instructed the head of the district and the head of the relevant department to continue systematic work in this direction.
With the commissioning of the Maktaaral station, the gasification indicators of the district have improved significantly. Currently, 75.6% of the district's population is provided with natural gas. To achieve 100% gasification, another automated gas distribution station is being built, as well as internal gas networks in 19 settlements. 4.7 billion tenge has been allocated for these purposes in 2024. Design and estimate documentation has been developed for four other settlements, expertise has been passed, and work is underway to allocate funding.
It should be noted that the Turkestan region occupies a leading position in the country in terms of gasification rates. In two years, 187 thousand people have been connected to natural gas, which is more than 90 settlements.
