As part of the "Clean City" phase of the "Clean Kazakhstan" program initiated by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, cleaning work was organized in the Baidibek district. Residents of the district, specialists from various fields, and young volunteers from the "ZhasLife" volunteer club took part in these works.
During the event, entrance and internal streets, parks, ditches, and water pipes were cleaned of garbage.
Previously, the akim of Baidibek district Yerlan Nurmakhanov called on the residents of the district to actively participate in cleaning work and keep the environment clean.
- The future and development of our district depends only on our joint efforts. Each of us must contribute to its beautification and development. If each resident considers responsibility as his duty, then together we will live in a clean and beautiful environment. Therefore, we need to actively participate in Sabbaths and public events and develop our ecological culture. The burden of the snowman is light, so I invite you to work together for the cleanliness and beauty of our district, to keep our surroundings clean, to constantly maintain public places, and to put our yards in order, - said the district akim.
It should be noted that about 3,000 residents and active youth participated in the cleaning work organized within the framework of the program, and 28 pieces of equipment were mobilized. Cleaning work was carried out along 41 kilometers of streets, 19 kilometers of sidewalks, 16 children's and sports grounds, 8 bridges, canals and riverbeds. As a result, more than 92 tons of garbage were removed.
