As a result of the implementation of the "Digital Bailiff" project in the capital, the digitalization of enforcement proceedings has developed rapidly. This was announced by Zhanna Suyimbaeva, Deputy Head of the Astana Department of Justice, Member of the Astana Commission on Minors' Affairs, at a briefing in the Communications Service, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.

The capital's Department of Justice has published the results of the work of private bailiffs in 2024.

“There were 746,673 enforcement documents in the production of private bailiffs of Astana for a total amount of 3.5 trillion tenge. 341,514 enforcement documents were completed, of which 188,123 cases were fully executed. The total amount of executed documents amounted to 79.3 billion tenge. 25,335 simplified enforcement cases were initiated through the "Digital Bailiff" system, the total amount of which amounted to 539.2 million tenge. This allowed citizens to save up to 5 billion tenge, since additional costs for the services of a private bailiff were eliminated," the speaker said. Continuing his speech, he touched on how the "Digital Bailiff" system works. According to him, the reduction of the human factor was due to the complete automation of processes, so there is no need to personally visit bailiffs. "Digital notification to debtors - a debt reminder is sent via SMS (1414) and EGov Mobile push-notifications." Targeted restriction - if a traditional private bailiff blocks all bank accounts, the new system imposes restrictions on only one account within the debt amount. Convenient online payment - you can pay the debt online, and restrictions are automatically removed after payment," says the representative of the department. In addition, the issue of certification of private bailiffs was also raised. In 2024, 258 private bailiffs worked in Astana. Certification is carried out at least once a year and includes computer testing and an interview. Candidates who successfully pass the certification will receive a license for the right to work as a private bailiff. "Digitalization of enforcement proceedings is an important step towards the transition to a fair, transparent and convenient system of enforcement of judicial acts. The "Digital Bailiff" system allows citizens to save money and reduce the time for the execution of court decisions," noted Zhanna Suyumbaeva, Deputy Head of the Astana Department of Justice, Member of the Commission for the Affairs of Adult Children.
