This year, it is planned to replace the emergency exit devices of 12 multi-storey residential buildings in the city. According to the plan, elevators in 1 residential building in Al-Farabi district, 1 in Turan district, and 10 in Karatau district will be renovated.

It should be noted that in 2024, 28 units were replaced in 16 multi-storey residential buildings in the city. In accordance with housing legislation, decisions on major repairs to the common property of the facility, emergency stairs are made at a meeting attended by more than half of the total number of owners of apartments and non-residential premises, if two-thirds of the total number of owners agree.

Residents can apply to Turgyn Uy Shymkent LLP for the replacement of emergency stairs at the expense of refundable funds.
