The "Aul Amanaty" program is being implemented in the region, aimed at supporting rural residents, creating new jobs and developing entrepreneurship.

According to Azhar Kadzhibekova, the head of the East Kazakhstan Region Department of Agriculture, in 2023, loans worth 1.5 billion tenge were issued under the program, and 235 new jobs were created.
In 2024, it was planned to allocate 7 billion tenge. However, 2.5 billion tenge was allocated from the republican budget.
- Currently, 72 projects worth 1 billion tenge have been approved, and 163 new jobs will be created, - said Azhar Kadzhibekova.
This year, an additional 3 billion tenge will be allocated for the implementation of the program. Taking into account variable funds, the budget will amount to 4.5 billion tenge. This will allow financing about 550 projects. These include tourism, processing of agricultural products, and the purchase of machinery for farmers.
