Regional meetings on flood preparedness continue in the region. This time, the meeting was held in the village of Novoishimskoye, chaired by the akim of the North Kazakhstan region, Gauez Nurmukhambetov, and was attended by the akims of the Musrepov, Aiyrtau, Timiryazev and Shal akyn districts and heads of responsible bodies.
Preparatory work was carried out in these districts, taking into account last year's floods. In the Shal akyn district, protective dams were strengthened in the villages of Uzynzhar and Karatal, and the dam around the sewage pumping station in Sergeevka was raised to 5 meters.
In the Timiryazev district, protective dams were strengthened in the villages of Stepnoye and Dzerzhinskoye. In the Aiyrtau district, this work was carried out in the villages of Yeletskoye, Yanko and Aiyrtau. In the Musrepov district, the embankment of the bypass canal was strengthened in the village of Ruzaevka along the Sharyk River.
In addition, 36 water pipes were installed to ensure the unhindered flow of melted snow water in these districts. Blasting is planned on the Ishim River and small rivers. In total, blasting will be carried out at 49 sites in the city and 8 districts to prevent ice jams, the allocated amount is 5 times more than last year.
"There is only one month left before the start of the flood season, I have instructed all services to ensure full readiness," the head of the region wrote on social media.
During a visit to the Musrepov district, the regional akim got acquainted with the implementation of investment projects. A cereal and cereal production plant is being built in the village of Novoishimskoye for 3.2 billion tenge, with its launch 24 new jobs will be created. In addition, a compound feed plant worth 4.2 billion tenge will be built in the district. These enterprises will allow diversifying the regional economy and developing new market directions.
