A seminar-training was held on the topic "Religious ceremonies performed in holy places" and "Procedure for organizing funerals and maintenance of cemeteries" organized by the Turkestan region akim's office.
In order to improve the quality and qualifications of the service of the candlesticks serving in places of pilgrimage, the meeting discussed the strengthening of the requirements for candlesticks, and it was noted that the surroundings of the holy places should be kept clean and comfortable conditions should be created for pilgrims.
The event was attended by the head of the regional religious affairs office Rustem Sabyrzhanuly and employees of the office, deputy heads of departments and departments of culture and tourism, deputy akims of cities and districts, heads of internal policy departments, representatives of the State Committee for the Protection of the Motherland, candlesticks serving in places of pilgrimage in the Turkestan region, vice-rector of the University of International Tourism and Hospitality, and representatives of the media.
