At least 1.5 trillion tenge will be allocated for the development of the agro-industrial sector

About 1.5 trillion tenge will be allocated to the development of investment projects in the agricultural sector in 2025 through the Agrarian Credit Corporation (ACC) and KazAgroFinance. The funds will be used for spring sowing and harvesting, implementation of investment projects, purchase of fixed assets and replenishment of working capital, and leasing of agricultural machinery.
When lending projects, the following areas will be prioritized:
Processing of agricultural products and production of food products (priority to socially significant food products)
Development of irrigation systems (sprinklers, irrigation structures, drip irrigation)
Industrial greenhouses (reduction of seasonal fluctuations in vegetable prices)
Development of infrastructure (packaging, storage, transportation) Development of fodder production on an industrial scale. Lending of investment projects will be aimed at solving the tasks of increasing investments in agro-industrial complex, developing domestic production and stable supply of the domestic market with domestic products to reduce food inflation imports, as well as realizing export potential.
➤ To increase the coverage of projects, the limits of project lending through the ANC will be increased from 7 billion tenge to 15 billion tenge. Also, the use of guarantees of the Baiterek Guarantee Fund and Damu for large-term projects of the Agrarian Credit Corporation will be expanded, and the mandate of the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan to support the export of agricultural products will be strengthened.
➤ Within the framework of KazAgroFinance leasing programs, priority support will be provided to domestic agricultural machinery. This will allow expanding the multiplier effect of this measure of support for farmers on industrial enterprises. In addition, the Baiterek holding will continue to form a pool of poultry farms and increase the export potential of agricultural producers. Negotiations are underway with Malaysia to develop new sales markets, as well as to create a new trade fund that will increase grain exports to $200 million. In the long term, it is planned to increase this figure to $1 billion.
