The "Agrarian Credit Corporation" continues to provide financing under the "Broad Steppe 2" program at a preferential interest rate of 5% per annum.
A total pool of applications for approximately 239.4 billion tenge has been formed from 2,042 agricultural producers, including applications for 232.7 billion tenge from 1,958 agricultural producers. 1396 agricultural enterprises were financed for 171.6 billion tenge.
Agricultural enterprises of Akmola, Kostanay and Turkestan regions are showing activity.
Recall that in accordance with the instruction of the Head of State on early financing of spring sowing and harvesting in 2025, the acceptance of applications for preferential loans began on November 29, 2024. These measures were taken to allow farmers to carry out all necessary measures in a high-quality manner, purchase seeds, fertilizers and prepare equipment.
In total, up to 700 billion tenge will be allocated for spring field work, of which 560 billion tenge will be attracted from market capital sources. Thanks to the measures taken by the government, farmers will receive financial support on the most favorable terms for them.
In particular, the number of financial institutions to which they can apply both for the issuance of loans and for their subsequent repayment has increased. Financing will be available through second-tier banks, credit partnerships, social entrepreneurship corporations, and ANCs.
To address the lack of collateral, the Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund has pledged to guarantee 85% of the loan amount.
